Sacred Arts for the Soul

Body and Hearth Classes introduce concepts to awaken and empower your spirit. Each class includes easy-to-understand instruction and experiential activities.  Classes may be tailored to meet individual needs.

Small groups of 2 to 4 students provide a fun, intimate learning experience. 1:1 classes are also available.

SOUND HEALING CLASSES

Sound Healing uses vibration to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It affects us at a cellular level, promoting relaxation, breaking up energy blockages, and releasing lower frequencies. Sacred sound (Himalayan bowls, bells, and chimes) has been used since ancient times as a bridge to other worlds, an invocation to the Divine, and a method for deep healing. The vibration from these instruments provides a sublime, rejuvenating experience, whether for personal healing or paired with holistic therapies. Classes include materials and supervised use of instruments while in class.

Introduction to Meditation and Sound Healing, $45 (1 hour)
New to holistic therapies? Curious about meditation and sound? This is a great place to start! 
Learn the benefits of meditation with sound
Feel, hear, and see sound vibration

Children are welcome to attend this class, but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. 

I: Sacred Sound – Bridge to Divine Healing, $90 (2.5 hours)*
Explore the history and science of vibrational healing
Experience the healing energy of Sacred Sound as you learn about chakras
Connect with and play a Himalayan Bowl

II: Sound Alchemy – Sacred Sounds of the Himalayas, $90 (2.5 hours)*
Prerequisite: Completion of Level I
Explore the rich history and symbology of Himalayan instruments
Learn sound techniques to energize, disperse, and balance energies
Practice methods to incorporate Sacred Sound into your personal healing practice

III: Good Vibrations – Expanding the Sound Healing Toolbox, $90 (2.5 hours)*
Prerequisite: Completion of Levels I and II
Delve deeper into sound healing instruments
Discover the healing power of the breath and voice
Receive a primer on drums, gongs, tuning forks, and crystal bowls

IV: Share the Magic – Sacred Sound for the Holistic Practitioner, $90 (2.5 hours)*
Prerequisite: Completion of Level I, II, and III
Identify the role of the sound practitioner
Understand healing affects and contraindications
Explore layouts, techniques, transitions

V: Healing In Harmony – Creating Peaceful Soundscapes, $90 (up to 2.5 hours)*
Optional Practicum Prerequisite: Completion of Level I, II, III, and IV
Review essential singing bowl practices and sound sequences
Integrate and practice sound concepts to create a meaningful sound healing experience
Receive coaching to build confidence and develop skills

Sound Play Dates – Practice Makes Perfect, $45/hour
Prerequisite: Completion of Level I-IV

*Add $10/hour ($25 per 2.5 hour class) to purchase up to 6 CEUs through Fair Oaks Massage Institute.
One-on-one instruction is available for $150 per class.

Mixed Media Art Play Date, $30 Studio Fee
Express your creativity, tap into your imagination, and be in the present moment with art!

  • Create mixed media affirmation cards
  • Use different materials to create dimension
  • Share ideas and inspiration with others
  • Schedule more dates to create a deck and box to hold your cards. Fun, fun!

Runes of Mystery, $90 (2 hours)
Access the esoteric wisdom of the Runes.

  • Hear the story of how Odin discovered the Runes.
  • Explore the meanings of the 24 pictographs of the Elder Futhark Runes.
  • Create a personal set of Runes or talisman.
  • Practice castings.

Another way to experience the magic of the Runes is to invite Kate to do readings at a special event. Kate will arrive in Nordic costume, share the tale of Odin, and provide readings to your guests. Contact Kate to schedule an appointment or for more information.

The Miracle of Feng Shui, $90 (2 hours)
Harmonize energies in your home to create life balance that supports your personal goals.

  • Explore the fundamentals of Feng Shui.
  • Assess personal needs.
  • Map the Ba-Gua to your home or office.
  • Identify the Three Pillars of your home.
  • Learn the secret to manifesting what you desire.
